Doha: The Qatar Stars League (QSL) yesterday announced that all preparations have been finalised and the stage is set for the prestigious Qatar Cup 2025 tournament which kicks off at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium tomorrow.
The tournament features the top four sides from the Ooredoo Stars League (OSL), promising top-class action among the best teams of the season.
The reigning Ooredoo Stars League champions Al Sadd will face Al Ahli in the opening match of the semi-final phase tomorrow, while the second match will be played between Al Duhail and Al Gharafa on the following day, with both kick-offs set for 7:00pm.
The final is scheduled for May 10.
Announcing the preparations, QSL Sales, Marketing and Communication Executive Director Hassan Rabiah Al Kuwari (pictured) yesterday stressed the League’s commitment to ensure exceptional organisational and technical standards at the tournament through cooperation with all relevant entities, partners and clubs.
The QSL has made tickets exclusively available online via its official ticketing portal tickets.qsl.qa from April 19.
Al Kuwari noted that QSL have announced valuable prizes, including three cars and numerous other rewards through raffle draws to enhance the fan experience during the semi-final matches.
Apart from that, a dedicated fan zone has been designated, featuring various activities that will boost the match atmosphere.
“The cup is prestigious and bears a name dear to all of us, the name of our beloved country, Qatar. We hope to succeed in presenting a distinguished tournament at all levels. I also extend my thanks and appreciation to the sponsors, partners, supporters and media outlets, and all partners are working hand-in-hand to ensure the tournament’s outstanding success,” Al Kuwari said.
