Doha: Ranveer Singh, who was recently announced as the brand ambassador of the National Basketball Association (NBA) India participated in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game in Cleveland on February 20, 2022.
NBA All-Star Celebrity Game 2022 features some of the world's best basketball players and artists across music, entertainment, pop culture, and more.
Ranveer Singh was part of Team Walton which included singer Machine Gun Kelly, rapper Quavo, comedian, actress Tiffany Haddish, athlete and actress Brittney Elena, and others. The team beat Team Nique to clinch the game 65-51.
Singh bought in his full energy and style at the game as he got a rockstar introduction in the game and the commentators were also stunned by his fan following of 38 million on Instagram.
Another video went viral where an excited fan screams out his dialogue “Apna Time Ayega” and he responded with a special gesture.
Ranveer is the second Indian personality to play in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game and his participation was a landmark moment. Abhishek Bachchan was the first Indian personality to participate in 2015.
In one of his interview videos, Singh said “he is thrilled to be here, and he is living a dream. He also mentioned this is the most unforgettable moment of his life and he met amazing people."
Ranveer will be next seen in “Jayeshbhai Jordaar” and “Rocky Aur Rani ki Prem Kahani”.
