Doha: Qatar’s Abdulwahab Al Ishaq stunned Abbas Maniar of USA to keep his hopes alive of qualifying for the main draw of the Qatar Circuit 2.
At the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex yesterday, two other Qatar players were not so lucky in the qualifying rounds which began yesterday and continues today.
Qatar’s Abdulrahman Al Malki lost to Edmon Lopez Moller while Moses Durosinmi defeated Umair Umar Zaman of Qatar.
The qualifying action continues today.
The main round of the tournament starts from tomorrow. Two Qatari players feature in the main draw.
