Baghdad: Iraq's Prime Minister Haider Al Abadi met here today with the Speaker of the Arab Parliament Ahmed Al Jarwan, who is now visiting Baghdad.
During the meeting, they discussed promoting Arab cooperation, the challenges facing the region and the threat of terrorism in addition to the political, security and economic conditions.
Al Abadi said that terrorism is a serious threat to the Arab region adding that everyone should be aware of that threat and work to eradicate this deviant ideas that has no relevance to Islam.
Al Jarwan said that Iraq is one of the fundamental pillars of the Arab nation. He reaffirmed the Arab Parliament's support to the reforms carried by Al Abadi and to Iraq's efforts in fighting terrorism.
