Doha: Qatar Volleyball Association (QVA) is gearing up to host the World Volleyball Challenger Cup - Qatar 2023 which will get underway at the Aspire Sports Hall on July 28.

As many as eight teams including hosts Qatar, Chile, China, Dominican Republic, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkiye and Ukraine will take part in the three-day competition.    

Yesterday, QVA President Ali Ghanem Al Kuwari chaired a meeting of the Organising Committee, reviewing preparations to host a spectacular edition of the event.

The QVA President hoped that tournament would be organised in a befitting manner stressing on teamwork to deliver a memorable edition. 

Qatar will meet Thailand in their opening match on July 28 as FIVB announced schedule of the tournament.
