Oman lifts Covid-related ban on commercial activities

Dubai: Oman on Thursday lifted a ban on commercial activities it imposed in May to prevent the spread of Covid-19, a government health body said on Twitter. 

The Ministry reported 186 new cases of coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours bringing the total number of positive cases to 300,914.

The Ministry stated seven new Covid-19-related deaths were reported, bringing the total number of deaths to 4,020.

The Ministry added that 320 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 289,450 recoveries, while the number of hospitalized people in intensive care reached 86 cases.
