Loyola International School has announced that it will open its second campus in Wukair starting this academic session. This news comes as a breather for Indian expatriate parents seeking admissions in the country.
Following CBSE curriculum, the admission is open for students from KG1 to grade 6 with over 1,000 seats and a future development plan to open higher grades from 2020.
The school, with a state-of-the-art campus and indoor and outdoor playgrounds, has another campus in Al Nasr street that has been operational since 2014.
"We are investing in new teaching methodologies, innovative smart ICT solutions across our classes in order to ensure a 360 degree development learning for our students,” Principal PKV Prasad said.
The Wukair campus inside the Ezdan Oasis compound would begin the academic session in April.
"This will help parents who have been unable to secure admission for their children in various schools,” said Prasad.
The new school will be a relief to parents who were left in the lurch ever since the authorities last month announced that the admissions to evening shift have been put on hold.
According to some school officials, who had started registering students for evening shift, a few students, who secured admission in the second shift, were accommodated in the morning session, but many were asked to collect their fee refund as it was not clear yet if the second shift will be in place for the current academic year.
More Indian schools are expected to open in the near future, and this is expected to ease the rush for admission.
