DOHA: Defending champions Lekhwiya will be eyeing their successive win in the Qatar Stars League (QSL) when they take on Qatar SC today.
Coached by Eric Gerets, Lekhwiya beat Al Gharafa and Al Khor in their last two matches to recover lost ground against top sides Al Sadd, Al Wakra and Al Rayyan.
Today’s clash will take place at Thani Bin Jassim Stadium. The week seven clash starts at 6:30pm.
Also today, fifth-placed Eljaish will be looking for favourable returns when take on Al Arabi who are still without a win this season. The match takes place at Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium.
Coached by Razvan Lucescu, Eljaish beat Al Khor 3-2 after Adriano Martins fired a brace more than two weeks ago.
Al Arabi, coached by Hassan Shehata, have lost two of their six matches whereas in four games the Doha side had to share points with rivals after draws.
In the third match of the day, Al Sailiyah take on Umm Salal at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium. Al Sailiyah - who embarrassed Al Rayyan with a 4-1 card on October 27 - have just one win from six matches. Umm Salal - with two wins this season - are in seventh spot.  THE PENINSULA
