DOHA: The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC), in collaboration with Jaidah Automotive, the dealer of Chevrolet in Qatar, has announced the recall of Chevrolet Colorado 2012-2014 models due to defects in the rims.
The recall comes within the framework of the ongoing coordination and follow-up by the ministry to ascertain the dealers’ commitment to follow up defects and repair them to protect consumers’ rights. MEC has also affirmed that it will coordinate with Jaidah Automotive to follow up the necessary maintenance and repair processes and will communicate with clients to ensure the success of the recall campaign as well as the implementation of the procedures to fix defects.
The Ministry urged consumers to report any abuses or irregularities by communicating with the Department of Consumer Protection and Commercial Fraud Combat, under MEC.
