Still from the video.

Still from the video.

Research has often shown that people resonate to emotions than  facts or figures. Using this to their best advantage, UAE Ministry of Interiors launched a video on its social media sites as a campaign against rash driving.

The arabic video titled Keep the Dreams Alive has a voiceover of children speaking about their plans and ambitions with the video of a school bus after a fatal accident.

A data released by the MOI showed that the number of people killed in accidents in Dubai had gone down to 48 in the first quarter this year from 65 deaths during same time last year.

MOI also had announced then that it will continue with traffic campaigns to spread awareness on the importance of following traffic rules.

The country also plans to increase fine for traffic violations starting July 1.
