The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MoTC) recently organised ‘Manage All Your Business Remotely’ webinar virtually that shed light on solutions that meet the challenges of Qatar’s rapidly growing manufacturing industry.
The workshop, which was targeted for SMEs of any industry, highlighted how critical it is to have a digital platform to adapt to the current circumstances to maintain productivity. The session also included a quick demo on one of the digital transformations tools currently available in the market, demonstrating the automated workflows and other features that help companies manage their business remotely.
Expert speaker Zahid Hussain N G, who is a Senior Business Analyst at Smart Management IT Solutions (SMIT) delivered presentation on digital tools that allow business owners to manage their businesses efficiently and achieve their business goals. He demonstrated how one simple technology can transform traditional industries in the digital age.
The session covered best practice guidelines for remote workers and enabled them to work from home effectively and collaboratively.
He also threw light about Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and key features and demonstrated how the software is unique and operation modules of manufacturing industries. The software can be accessed from anywhere in the world with an Internet connection.
To solve manufacturing challenges with digital transformation the webinar dealt with specialized operations of manufacturing and construction management, to track sales, finances, payroll, and attendance using cloud technology.
