The Beaches and Islands Section at the Ministry of Municipality & Urban Planning has cleaned up Shira’aw island of waste, unloaded containers and replaced the old flag with a new one. It also cleaned up Fishermen’s Port by removing tyres and submerged objects and asked the owners of ships and boats and fishermen not to throw waste into the sea so that the marine environment and the general view of the area are preserved.
