Doha: A training course on protocol and etiquette was organised by Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the Human Resources Department at the Ministry of Interior.
Some 22 female employees of both ministries took part in the course which ends on Thursday, as part of cooperation between the institute and the Department of Human Resources.
The course aims to provide participants with knowledge and skills to enable them to use while dealing with VIPs and introduce them to principles of the protocol.
It includes topics such as international norms concerning behaviour, conversation, social relations, VIP protocol, human nature, personal components of humanitarian skills, priorities in dealing with VIPs, linguistic intelligence and diplomacy in dealing, the art of the silent language and universal protocol.
