Doha, Qatar: The Public Institution for Cultural Village Katara is preparing to organize the second Katara Summer Camp on July 21, which is an educational and recreational program that extends from July 21 to August 7, 2024, on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays of each week, targeting children from 10 to 13 years old.
Several entities in the country are participating in the camp to provide a rich and integrated program, namely the Ministry of Interior represented by the General Directorate of Civil Defense, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, the Qatar Red Crescent, Al Jazeera Media Institute, Shooting Club, Al Shaqab, and Sawt Al Khaleej Radio, in addition to the active contribution of a number of facilities and centers of the Katara Cultural Village, namely the Thuraya Planetarium and the Al Gannas Society. The program will include various activities from workshops and practical training related to the awareness aspect and another heritage aspect, in addition to field trips and visits.
Katara has allocated the following number 50047041 and the email [email protected] so that parents can easily register their children for the week they want, as the participants will be divided into three groups, each week a new group.
Through this camp, Katara seeks to enhance community and national values in the younger generation, in addition to developing their skills and gaining more knowledge through various educational and training workshops, field trips and tours of Katara facilities. It is worth noting that the last summer camp received many accolades from parents and participants who interacted greatly with the camp activities and praised them.
