Qatar win silver at World Games

Qatar won the silver medal at the World Games in Birmingham, US after going down to world champions Croatia 1-2 in a thrilling men’s beach handball final. Qatar won the first period 17:14, but the Croatians came back in the second (20:16) and secured a 9:6 shoot-out.
