Young mathematicians of DMIS who won the competition

 

Doha: DMIS students won the inter-school mathematics quiz ‘Mathemagic 2015’ hosted by Al Khor International School (CBSE) for Grades 8 and 9.

The DMIS team comprised of Charisma Kausar, Kshitij Parashar,  Saad Bin Safeer, Advait Puthenpura, Raphael Jose and Joshni Maureen.

Eight schools across Qatar participated in this prestigious event.  Only five teams made it to the finals after the preliminary round.

There were a total of nine unique and challenging rounds testing the concepts and skills in various aspects of Mathematics.

DMIS emerged as the potential winner, defeating the other schools with a good margin of points. The judges and the teachers appreciated and spoke high of our team, who gave a tough competition to the other teams.
