Baghdad: Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government Nechirvan Barzani and a British parliamentary delegation have discussed bilateral relations and the region's military needs to fight Daesh organisation as well as the humanitarian needs to help displaced people.
Barzani said during his meeting with the delegation, which includes representatives of all British parties, that the Kurdistan Regional Government highly values ??the British and American aids and all countries participated in the international coalition against Daesh terrorists, especially in the military side, which had a remarkable effect in liberating areas in general, and the town of Sinjar in particular.
He expressed hope for continued and increased support, especially in the military and humanitarian fields, to completely eliminate the risk of terrorism in the region and to help refugees and displaced people better.
He also underlined that the financial crisis and the huge numbers of refugee survivors from the grip of terrorism to the Kurdistan region form a heavy burden on the Government.
