Doha: The Qatar Shooting and Archery Association Cup will begin today at Losail Shooting Range, the organisers informed here yesterday.
The event is held in four categories, Men’s, Women’s, Men’s Juniors and Women’s Juniors.
The event, a season opener for local events, will serve as hunting ground for talent spotters to groom talent for the upcoming events. The tournament will serve as an ideal preparation for the upcoming Arab championship for shooting and Archery which Qatar Shooting and Archery Federation (QSRF) will be hosting next month at the Losail Complex.
It may be recalled that Qatar had a rich haul in the recently concluded Asian Games in South Korea. THE PENINSULA
