Doha: Qatar Charity (QC) has completed the second phase of a QR4m project to provide medicines for the people affected during the Israeli War on Gaza in 2014.
QC said it had provided medicines and medical supplies to Palestinian Health Ministry to meet shortages.
The project was within the framework of its emergency intervention programme in Gaza to alleviate the suffering of health centres, hospitals and primary care centres due to a shortage of medicines, medical supplies and laboratory materials.
Mohammed Abu Haloub, Deputy Director, QC in Gaza, said the project is being implemented under the state of siege imposed on Gaza and experienced by all sectors, including the health sector.
