Doha: The Katara Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) has opened the registration for public to participate in Katara summer camp which will extend from July 23 to August 15, within its summer activities devoted to children.
The camp offers an integrated programme that includes a wide range of activities that would develop children’s character with the engagement of several state entities, along with many facilities and centers of Katara.
It also aims to connect educational practices with the promotion of Qatari identity, as well as customs and traditions which will develop social, religious, and national values to further promote talents and capabilities, in addition to keeping up with the technological era, interest in various sports activities and awareness and religious programmes.
Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) is due to provide a range of lectures on medical aid, along with Al Gannas Qatari Society which will provide a variety of activities through which children can learn more about falconry, in addition to a workshop on making coffee, pouring over coffee, receiving guests at Qatari Majlis and other Qatar authentic customs and traditions.
