Apollo Scaffolding signs deal with Qatar Masters organisers

Doha: The Commercial Bank Qatar Masters organisers have announced a brand new partnership with local Qatari firm, Apollo Scaffolding. 

This is the first time Apollo Scaffolding has sponsored the European Tour sanctioned tournament, which will take place from January 23-26 at Doha Golf Club.  

As an official supplier, the Apollo Enterprises Scaffolding and Formworks Division will bring almost 20 years of Qatar market experience to the event. 

The company will provide the scaffolding necessary to erect the Winner’s Enclosure, one of the focal areas of the acclaimed hospitality offering at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters, as well as additional scaffolding needs throughout pre-event preparations and the tournament itself.

Apollo Divisional Manager Barry Britton, said: “It is very exciting for Apollo Scaffolding to bring our expertise in project operations to the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters team as a sponsor and an official supplier this year. It is an honour to be involved with one of the biggest sporting draws in Qatar and an annual focus of the golf world internationally.”

A European Tour event, the 16th annual Commercial Bank Qatar Masters will be staged next week at Doha Golf Club by the Qatar Golf Association (QGA) in collaboration with the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC). 

The 2012 Ryder Cup Team Europe member Paul Lawrie will return to defend his Commercial Bank Qatar Masters title and attempt to become the tournament’s first three-time winner.
