MES students mesmerize audience on Annual Day

Mesmerise 2015 was a glittering fiesta

 

Doha: Mesmerise 2015, a two-day cultural extravaganza marking the 41st Annual Day Celebrations of MES Indian School was celebrated in a colorful and spectacular fashion at the open-air auditorium of the school on December 10-11. 

Many distinguished personalities besides thousands of spectators witnessed this glittering fiesta that showcased exquisite performances of talents.

 

Children danced to the tunes of folk music including sufi and maharashtrian lavani  

 

Hamad Ahmed Hussain Ahmed Al Khalaf, Patron MES Indian School and the chief guest of the day remarked that he was greatly honoured to be a part of the school annual day celebrations, as the event provides a glimpse of the vibrant performances and multifaceted talents of  young students.

In his address the guest of honour KP Abdul Hameed, President IES Education City Thrissur, Kerala, lauded the school as it sets ever-new standard by accomplishing great heights in its scholastic and co-scholastic endeavor.

The principal of the school presented the school annual report, which highlighted the significant growth and achievements of students in the curricular and co-curricular domains during the academic year 2014-15.

KP Abdul Azeez, officiating President honoured the toppers at the national level in Class XII board examination with gold medals. AP Khaleel, Director Academics, MES Governing Board honored the teachers, whose students secured 100% in their respective subjects. MP Saleem, Director & Co-curricular Activities MES Governing Board and PK Mohamed, General Secretary, school Governing Board honored the staff, who put in long years of service. 

Congratulating the school on its 41st Annual Day, Raj Kumar Singh, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of India and the Chief Guest on the closing day, remarked that MES being the pioneer in providing quality education in the region, engages itself with all its latest educational initiatives to turn its students into global citizens of tomorrow.

Academic achievers for the academic year 2014-15, gold medal winners of the CBSE National Athletic Meet 2015, and the best outgoing scouts and guides were honoured by the distinguished dignitaries on the occasion.
