Hungarian police detain over 9,000 migrants on Monday

BUDAPEST:  Hungarian police rounded up 9,380 migrants who were crossing into the country from Serbia on Monday, the highest daily figure this year, the police said on Tuesday.
Late on Monday, police blocked off the main unofficial border crossing point used by migrants.
