DOHA: The weather is likely to be extremely humid this morning and at night.
Humidity levels are expected to range between 40 and 85 percent today. “You can expect high humidity levels, particularly early in the morning and at night,” a weather forecaster told this newspaper. According to him, humidity was around 64 percent at around 9.30 last night. In its routine weather bulletin for today, the meteorology department has forecast day temperatures at 39 to 42 degrees C.
In Doha, the maximum temperature expected is 41 degrees and the minimum 33. Nightly temperatures in places like Messaieed and Al Wakra are forecast at 31 degrees and in Al Khor and Dukhan 30. The weather will be hazy at first, becoming hot during the day, the bulletin said, adding by night humidity levels will rise. Offshore, the weather will be partly cloudy and the sea calmer.
