Doha: The Qatar Volunteer Centre of the Ministry of Culture organised at its headquarters a celebration on the occasion of the International Volunteer Day in the presence of a large number of strategic partners and workers in the field of volunteer work inside Qatar and at the regional level.
The celebration included a theatrical presentation on volunteer work, launch of a number of initiatives that would enrich the volunteer work, as well as the launch of a library.
The International Volunteer Day is organised every year to recognise and promote the tireless work, not just of UN volunteers, but of volunteers across the globe.
