Doha: The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) and Qatar Vision (QVision) were among the big winners at the Eventex Awards 2021, thanks to the impact of three FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 milestones.
The organisations received two gold awards, three silver, and two bronze at this year’s ceremony, which recognises events and experience marketing excellence. The prizes were given for the Qatar 2022 emblem launch and the inauguration of both Al Janoub and Ahmad Bin Ali stadiums. This is the 11th year of the Eventex Awards, which received 561 entries from 37 countries. Founded in 2009 to celebrate creativity, innovation and effectiveness in the industry, the Eventex Awards are considered esteemed prizes in the world of events and experiential marketing.
Nasser Al Khater, CEO of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 LLC, said, “We are very proud to receive these awards. All three milestones were tremendous events that helped build excitement on the road to 2022 and the first FIFA World Cup in the Middle East and the Arab world.
