Ooredoo Ride of Champions
Over 1,500 riders are expected to take part in this year’s Ride of Champions, which will include races for different age groups.
The event includes three events starting at 6:30am (48km, 78km and 137.5km) for experienced adult cyclists, all which start from the Ceremonial Court of Qatar Foundation.
A further festival of cycling starts at 9am for families, beginners and riders who are new to the sport at Qatar Foundation.
This festival of cycling is aimed at the riders that want to participate as a family, young riders or riders new to the sport of cycling. They will cycle a 5.8km distance. Additionally, there will be kids’ events for children between the age of 3 to 8, which begins at 9.00am.

Qatar International Boat Show
The five-day show, a must-attend event for boating enthusiasts, is considered one of the largest events of its kind in the Middle East. With over 30 exhibitors from Qatar, Germany, Italy, Turkey and Pakistan, QIBS has the best luxury yachts designed with international craftsmanship, along with boats, dhows and marine equipment and accessories.
Speed Marine, one of the biggest exhibitors at QIBS, has brought to the show some of their finest marine equipment.
Other exciting activities such as marine tours, water activities and marine races run alongside the show.

Kathak dance performance
Rhythmic Expressions, a Kathak dance performance by Rani Khanam and group, is being organised by the Embassy of India, Doha as part of the ‘India-Qatar Year of Culture 2019’.
Kathak is one of the eight classical dance forms of India – and is an amalgamation of three art forms - music, dance, and drama.
The performances include a stylized dance form, each signifying important aspects of various cultures. The musical concert will end with ‘Nritya Gati’ which presents intricate compositions, rapid movements, complex footwork and elegant facial expressions to communicate a sense of pure joy of rhythm.

‘In the Absence of Shadows’ Exhibition
Dr Veeda Ahmed’s artwork "In the Absence of Shadows," will take place in the Minaretein (Education City Mosque) gallery space. The exhibition will take place in tandem with the artist's workshop in Museum of Islamic Art, in which she will be teaching old techniques to the students in MIA's education enter.

Katara Beach Volleyball Cup
Katara Beach Volleyball Cup brings together 64 teams from 28 countries including Oman, Australia, Austria, Canada, China, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Japan, Venezuela, USA, Switzerland, Russia, Turkey, Poland, Estonia, Lithuania, Chile, Ukraine, Nigeria, Brazil, Slovenia and Qatar.
It will be the fifth time that the Qatari capital has hosted a World Tour event since it first played host in 2014.
Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tajin will be out to claim more hometown glory when they return to FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour action at the Four-Star Katara Beach Open title in Doha.
