Doha: FIFA has announced that the Club World Cup 2023, which is set to take place from December 12-22, will be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The decision to host the next edition of the Club World Cup in the Kingdom was made today, Tuesday, at the FIFA Council meeting.
Through his official social media account, Saudi Sports Minister HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal said that he was “honored & excited to warmly welcome the world’s leading football clubs and all fans to Saudi Arabia in December 12-20 for the FIFA #ClubWC.”

The announcement comes a few days after Saudi club Al Hilal lost 5-3 to European champions and five-time FIFA Club World Cup winners Real Madrid in the 2022 edition of the tournament held in Morocco.
