FINA Swimming World Cup 2018 (Doha)
The FINA World Cup in Doha, which is one of the highly-anticipated events of the year, is set to take place from September 13 to 15 at the Hamad Aquatic Centre. Over 130 swimmers including several big names from a total of 23 countries have confirmed their participation, in the three-day event.
Leading swimmers, who will be seen in action, include South African maestro Chad Le Clos, Rio Olympics gold medalist Katinka Hosszu (The Iron Lady) of Hungary, 2018 Glasgow European Championships medallist Ranomi Kromowidjojo of the Netherlands and Swedish star Sarah Sjostrom – world record holder in several disciplines including the 100m freestyle.
The Olympic and World champion will be joined by Russian world record holder Vladimir Morozov - while his compatriot Kirill Prigoda – the FINA World Championships medalist – and teenage sensation Michael Andrew of the US are also set to feature in the event, along with other prominent names.
There will be two sessions (morning heats and evening finals) daily on all three days of the contest. Tickets for the event can also be bought at the venue during days of the competition. The prices for tickets range from QAR10 to QAR250.

DFI Presents 'Searching' This Weekend
The Doha Film Institute Cinema (DFI Cinema) will screen the highly-rated, award-winning mystery thriller, Searching, directed by Aneesh Chaganty, as part of its ‘Contemporary Releases’. The exclusive screening comes ahead of the film’s official theatrical release in the region, offering Qatari residents the opportunity to watch it before it screens at commercial cinemas region-wide from the September 27.
Searching is the story of a desperate father, who breaks into his missing 16-year-old daughter’s laptop to look for clues to find her. The film is told via technology devices used every day to communicate, as the father tries to trace his daughter's digital footprints before she disappears forever.
The price for the ticket is QAR35.

The Amazing World of Gumball
Doha Festival City is hosting coming back to school by The Amazing World of Gumball. Children will get to enjoy activities such as the interactive station of fun games, including the Blind Fooled, and Dodge Ball games. In addition, there will be an opportunity to take images with your favorite character as well as a section for Arts and Crafts.

"N33° Flight" Exhibition

Ahel Qatar Exhibition
“Ahel Qatar” (People of Qatar), is a brilliant showcase of more than 20 modern realist-expressionist paintings by Qatari artist Ali Al Mulla. “These paintings display prominent figures in Qatar who carved their own niche through their exceptional achievements in different fields,” said Al Mulla.
Former international soccer player Mansour Muftah Al Abdullah, prominent social figure Mohammed Al Suwaidi, musician Abdulaziz Nasser Al Obeidan, actor Ghanim Al Sulaiti and famous media person Saad Al Rumaihi are some of the personalities featured in Al Mulla’s exhibition.
