BAKU: Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday met Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the Azeri capital of Baku for closed-door talks that touched on the situation in Syria as well as bilateral cooperation in energy.
The two leaders discussed the TurkStream pipeline to supply Russian gas to Turkey and the developments in Syria, Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said after the meeting.
