Doha: The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has said that Covid-19 thermal screening is only required in certain settings.
In a statement on Twitter, MoPH said: "The thermal screening for COVID-19 is no longer required in public places except in metro stations, airports, seaports and the land border."
The Ministry also mentioned that this decision is in line with the "Phase 4 of the Gradual Lifting of Restrictions and with the number of new daily COVID-19 cases remaining low in recent weeks."
MoPH also emphasized that a green Ehteraz status is still required to enter public places.
