DOHA: In a bid to make children familiar with the maritime industry, Mwani Qatar opened its establishment at KidzMondo yesterday. Captain Abdulla Al Khanji, CEO of Mwani Qatar, inaugurated yesterday the Mwani Qatar establishment during a ceremony held at the kid-sized city at Mall of Qatar.
The partnership between Mwani Qatar and KidzMondo Doha aims to support educational efforts in Qatar and contribute to build future generations by offering them education in various fields related to maritime works, thus creating a generation that is idea-seeking, creative and innovative able to serve the national economy.
Within a fully branded and realistic Mwani Qatar establishment, future generation will be able to get acquainted with the actor of Qatar’s latest emerging industry and the various career opportunities that it offers; Kidizens will have the opportunity to simulate, experience and learn the work scope of a shipping captain, customs officer and a crane operator during educational, fun and interactive role-play activities.
“It is our great pleasure to open one of the most important establishments in KidzMondo Doha, which will undoubtedly contribute to inspiring future leaders. The first establishment of its kind in KidzMondo Doha will help children to develop and become familiar with the real jobs in the maritime industry and provide them with the necessary skills and life-lessons that help them to become knowledgeable and having good culture that grant them confidence and courage in their future tasks,” said Captain Al Khanji.

Mwani Qatar operates under the guidance and supervision of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, and is responsible for Hamad Port and Al Ruwais Port, which are commercial ports, as well as the development of Doha Port into a cruise port.
