The world continues to witness with appreciation, admiration and fascination at the great success achieved by the State of Qatar in presenting a unique and exceptional edition of the World Cup, amid almost complete media consensus that Qatar was up to the challenge of achieving a unique, dazzling and unprecedented World Cup in history.

International journalists, media professionals and politicians unanimously agreed that Qatar has achieved distinction and uniqueness in managing the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 file with exceptional organization at all levels, since it won the honor of hosting the tournament in 2010, as it continued to implement its plans in order to fulfill its promises to organize one of the most successful tournaments in history, without paying attention to the opposing voices that tried through campaigns to undermine its efforts and its right to host the World Cup.

The participation of the Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in the opening ceremony, and His Highness presence in some matches represented good material for the media and websites, some of which said that he is the real star of this great sport event, and with the direct supervision of His Highness on the organization of a historic edition of the World Cup tournaments since its inception in the thirties of the last century until today, in addition to interaction of the Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani with the matches and the fans.

Paul Garliss, a British tourism expert who runs one of the specialized tourism agencies, said that as the final whistle of the World Cup approached, Qatar emerged victorious in its bet on the success of the tournament, despite everything that was reported about it in the Western media, thus, it was able to turn the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 into a wonderful football spectacle, which entertained the fans and made them forget all that confusion.

Garliss added, during an interview with PR Week blog, that the world will praise this World Cup, and may even describe it as the best version in the history of the World Cup tournaments, especially since it did not witness violent incidents or mass riots. Not only did the international media praise Qatar’s organizational, preparatory and security success, and what the matches reflected in terms of distinguished and close technical levels and unprecedented surprises, but rather talked about the cultural and religious aspects related to tolerance and religious coexistence, as a Reuters report stated that while the muezzin was raising the call to prayer for Asr prayer in Katara Mosque, one of the Argentine fans was sitting behind him and filming him, and she showed signs of admiration and fascination, to confirm her interest in religions in the Middle East, and her desire to visit mosques after she came from her country to attend the World Cup. In the same context, Sadat Anwar, a Canadian volunteer at the Qatar Guests Center, said, “There are a large number of visitors interested in this aspect, and this is what we expected and what we hoped. Many fans take a break from football and from watching matches to learn about aspects of Qatari culture.”

He added, “We had many visitors here at the Blue Mosque or the Katara Mosque.. People are really interested in seeing the architecture, appreciating the beauty of the mosque, and following the worshipers as they perform one of the five daily prayers.” The National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ), which witnessed a large influx of visitors and tourists, also won the attention and admiration of the international media, as a report by the Colombian Blu Radio stated that modernity, development and traditions are all descriptions of Qatar, which was able, thanks to the discovery of oil and gas reserves, to develop and progress. with giant strides, pointing out that this great transformation witnessed by civilization in Qatar tells the story of the National Museum of Qatar, which takes its visitor on a journey through the history of the country, which was able to become independent and develop as a modern and developed country.

Imad Khayat, a Lebanese journalist, considered that Qatar has succeeded in hosting this great football event, stressing its right to organize the largest football competition in the world. Khayat said, on ‘The World This Week’ program broadcasted by France 24, that Qatar has succeeded in proving that it can host a major football event such as the World Cup, which in turn shed the light not on the country it self, but on the Arab region as a whole, and proved that the Arabs are capable of organizing such events.

For his part, Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to Qatar H E Guillermo Luis Nicholas, said, “I have not yet begun to perform my first mission for which I came as the Argentine ambassador to Qatar, to strengthen bilateral and economic relations with this country, due to my preoccupation with managing the affairs of the national team’s fans during the World Cup period, I will start this mission with the advent of January of next year, after the end of the World Cup, on which we are focusing our efforts at the embassy during the current time.” He explained, during an exclusive interview with Argentine Semana TV, that his country has historical bilateral relations with all Arab Gulf countries, noting that Qatar is a comfortable country to live in, and the people here are very nice and hospitable, and the resident can practice several recreational activities.
