Doha: Qatar citizens and residents are showing their support to country’s leadership in many unique ways.
Many have put stickers on their vehicles, some wear t-shirts with pictures praising the country and leadership, a big number of citizens are changing their DP on various social media platforms.
In all this effort one image has gone viral across platforms. An image of Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani with “Glorious Tamim” written in Arabic calligraphy style has been adopted by all.
This image, created by Qatari artist Ahmed bin Majed Almaadheed, can be seen all over Qatar – online and offline.
The portrait of Emir with the Arabic wording can be seen on car stickers, t-shirts, walls, malls, twitter, facebook, instagram and snapchat offering loyalty and complete support to the country and leadership.
The well-known artist, who had created the mascots of the AFC Asian Cup in 2011, has also offered high quality prints if anyone requires the same. he can be contacted on [email protected]
One car accessory company is offering this image as car stickers for FREE. British Car Care (@q_bcc) in Al Wakra has taken permission from Ahmed bin Majed for this offer and it is available to all, a post by the artist in his Instagram account said.
In another post famous celebrity TV anchor Mohamed Saadoun Al Kuwari, also brand ambassador of Qatar Charity, can be seen wearing a t-shirt with that image.
This viral image can also be seen on the walls of Lagoona mall in West Bay.
Many apparel shops are participating in this campaign and have designed the T shirt which carry the face of Emir and are distributing it free to people in many areas.
This trend has become viral on social media and many citizens have circulated pictures and videos announcing that they are distributing T shirts designed in both white and black colours.
