The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has announced that preschool registration assessment for the 2023-2024 academic year will begin from tomorrow (April 12).
The screening is necessary for preschool students applying for joining schools for the new academic year. PHCC said in a tweet that it would follow screening procedures in one visit.
“This year the PHCC will follow screening procedures from 12. 4. 2023 in one visit with taking all precautionary measures as in the following steps,” it said.
Parents must call 107 and book an appointment for preschool registration assessment. Parents with students must attend their health centre according to the day scheduled. They need to be present one hour ahead of appointment and bring necessary documents including a valid QID card and health card, birth certificate and vaccination card.
Students and parents are required to head to the assigned health centre’s reception, then the nursing assessment, the laboratory to conduct, the social worker’s assessment, then the dental clinic on schedule, followed by a visit to the family doctor’s clinic to examine the student clinically to access to all examinations and test results, and issue the health certificate electronically.
Results of the medical examination of students can be viewed electronically via a link shared with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
