This weekend we have something for everyone - music lovers can head to QNCC or those who like dance can head to Katara, while those who would like to binge on Palestinian food can do the same at Palestinian Festival. This is just a part of what we have chosen for you. Read on to pick and choose your activity this weekend!

Palestinian Festival 

With 42 stalls featuring traditional costumes, handicrafts, foods and local products, Palestinian Festival provides a great opportunity for visitors to get to know the real culture of the country. From the traditional costume Thawb to traditional form of Kunafa, all brought or prepared by the Palestinians can be found at the festival.

Cinema under the stars 

Watching a movie under the stars is an experience in itself but when it is an outstanding animation movie like Inside Out, the fun doubles. Watch Riley and her emotions - joy, fear, anger, disgust and sadness who live in Headquarters -  struggle on how best to navigate a new city, house and school. Doha Film Institute will screen the movie daily at Museum of Islamic Art Park this weekend.

Kids on the moon @MOQ
Mall of Qatar promises to provide an out of the world edutainment experience of kids from 5 to 12 years old. The mall has arranged for space shuttles, games and astronaut suits that will get your kid's imagination going.

Indayog ng Pilipinas

A showcase of Philippine folkloric dances will be performed at the Drama Theatre in Katara this Sunday. The dance show will be performed by the  Cultural Center of the Philippines the Ramon Obusan Folkloric Dance Group. Children below 6 years old are not allowed at the performance.

Boz Jol Exhibition 

Katara in cooperation with Embassy of Kyrgyz Republic present the Boz Jol Exhibition that is a symbolic representation of the duality existing in world.

Music and pictures from James Bond and Harry Potter 
Head this weekend to QNCC to be transported to the headquarters of the MI6 and the mysterious world of withcraft and the magical world of Hogwards. Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra in follow up to the series of film music concerts will explore the British musical universe of Harry Potter and James Bond. Featuring conductor Frank Strobel and vocalist, QPO invites residents to hear scores composed by John Williams and John Barry, among others.

X- Ray Fashion

A virtual reality film ‘X-Ray Fashion’ has come to Doha as part of Qatar Museum’s (QM) extensive 2019 programme. The film shines the spotlight on the inner workings of the world’s second largest polluter: the fashion industry. The event is free of cost.
