Doha: Katara is ready to receive thousands of visitors tomorrow, Tuesday, February 11, to take part in the 9th edition of National Sport Day.
The event will see the participation of 54 public and private entities, including 17 sports federations, 15 ministries and government departments, 15 health institutions and food companies, according to the organizers.
The 9th National Sport Day celebration focuses more on community participation to allow people of all age groups to take part in sporting activities, whether they are common visitors, athletes, children, women or persons with special needs.
This edition of the Sports Day will have many new activities such as the air show by the Qatar Air Sports Committee, during morning and evening, in addition to the activities for persons with special needs by the Qatar Down Syndrome Association, marine shows on Katara Beach and Dragon shows.
Free services also include health consultations and medical examinations.
