After correctly predicting the last three winners in 2010, 2014, and 2018, EA Sports FIFA 23 simulating all 64 matches has predicted that Argentina will come out on top come December.
Using its groundbreaking HyperMotion2 Technology and the dedicated FIFA World Cup 2022 ratings in FIFA World Cup Kick-Off and Tournament modes EA Sports simulated all 64 matches to decide on the winner.
According to the prediction, football’s greatest rivals Argentina and Brazil will meet for the first time in a FIFA World Cup since 1990 and the first time ever in the Final. It added that Lionel Messi will be crowned with the Golden Boot award, with eight goals in seven games including the decisive strike in the final.
There was a four-way tie for the Golden Glove between Rui Patrício of Portugal, Alisson of Brazil, Dominik Livaković of Croatia, and Emiliano Martínez of Argentina, but it was Martínez who picked up the award by virtue of progressing the furthest in the tournament, added EA Sports.
While this could spark a debate among football fans, the results are based only on a simulation and in reality, there's no guarantee to these predictions.
