Doha: Qatar Leadership Academy has succeeded in instilling the spirit of leadership among its students with the support of intensive academic programmes and educational trips inside the country and abroad.
The graduates of 15th cohort of Qatar Leadership Academy have said that they will pursue their higher studies to be military officers and other professionals playing leading roles in serving the country. Qatar Leadership Academy, a member of Qatar Foundation held graduation ceremony for its 15th cohort on Tuesday at Multaqa (Education City Student Center).
Established in 2005 with an innovative partnership between Qatar Foundation and the Qatar Armed Forces, the academy was designed to take a holistic approach to youth development, providing the highest standards of education to develop young men into future leaders.
Speaking to The Peninsula, the graduates lauded management and teaching staff of Qatar Leadership Academy for providing excellent education environment enabling them to fulfil their dreams.
Al Harith Mojahed Al Jumily, a graduate of Qatar Leadership Academy, said that he is proud to be graduated from a military school.
“We received intensive training programmes held inside Qatar and abroad such as Oman and Turkiye under the endeavour of the academy to provide best qualified cadres,” said Al Jumily.
He lauded the management of Qatar Leadership Academy and its teaching staff for their full support.
“I would like to thank specially Director of Qatar Leadership Academy Jameel Al Shammari, Head of Student Services at Qatar Leadership Academy Rashid Al Nuaimi and other staff for their contribution during my journey,” said Al Jumily.
Speaking about his ambitions, Al Jumily said that he wanted to be a doctor to serve the country in a better way.
Mohammed Khalid Al Hajri, a graduate of the academy, said that he will join Al Zaeem Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air Academy to be a flight engineer to serve the county with full dedication.
He thanked the government for providing such excellent academy enabling him and other youngsters to obtain best education to serve the country.
“I would like to thank my parents and teaching staff for their full support during my study,” said Al Hajri.
Ali Al Kaabi, a graduate of the academy, said that he wanted to join Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College. Lauding Qatar Leadership Academy, Al Kaabi said: “The academy provided great opportunity for four years to me to be a leader for future. I want to be an officer to serve the country.”
