Los Angeles: The NBA champion Golden State Warriors set a league record Monday with their 45th straight regular-season home victory.

The Warriors defeated the Orlando Magic 119-113 to remain unbeaten on their home floor in Oakland, California, since January 27, 2015.

They improved on the previous record of 44 straight home wins set by the Michael Jordan-led Chicago Bulls over the 1994-95 and 1995-96 seasons.

One day after their shock defeat to the Lakers in Los Angeles, Stephen Curry and the Warriors bounced back against the Magic.

Curry scored 41 points, and became the first player in NBA history to make 300 three-pointers in a season as he connected on seven of 13 shots from beyond the arc to take his tally for the campaign to 301.

Klay Thompson scored 27 points for Golden State, who overcame a season-high 24 turnovers.

The Magic didn't hand it to them, closing within two points, at 111-109 with 1:13 left to play.

But Thompson turned a broken play into his fifth three-pointer with 52.5 seconds left and Golden State held on to notch another record in a dominant season.
