Doha: The volunteer registration for Expo 2023, the horticultural exposition in Doha, has come to a close after just five days since it opened.
Organisers announced that they received an overwhelming response, with over 50,000 applications flooding in from enthusiastic individuals wanting to be part of this six-month event.
"Thank you to all who have shown interest and registered to be part of our incredible journey. The website is now officially closed for registration," Expo 2023 Doha stated on its Instagram handle.
Although the volunteer registration has ended, Expo 2023 Doha said that the public should keep an eye on their page for further updates, exciting news, and more ways to get involved in the upcoming events.
Expo 2023 Doha holds immense significance for Qatar as it serves as a major platform to showcase the country's offerings to the world.
Over the course of October 2023 to March 2024, Al Bidda Park is expected to welcome around 3,000,000 tourists, residents, students, dignitaries, and exhibitors who will come together to explore and celebrate the world of horticulture.
