Gaza: The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced Saturday the closure of all its facilities in Gaza Strip to the public until further notice, with the exception of the 22 health centers.
The Agency said in a statement, "Starting from August 7 and until further notice, all UNRWA facilities will be closed to the public except for the 22 health centers, which will open their doors at the usual working hours, but will be limited to providing basic services such as the distribution of medicines for patients with chronic diseases, follow-up of high-risk pregnancies and postpartum cases, immunizations for children and acute dental cases."
The latest measure by the UNRWA comes in the aftermath of the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip, which has claimed the lives of at least 15 Palestinians, predominantly civilians, and the injury of at least 140 others.
