Doha: As Doha Metro Red Line South opens for public from tomorrow Mowasalat has announced special deals in their Karwa taxis and also free feeder buses for metro commuters.
To solve the last mile connectivity, they will be running metrolink feeder buses from stations. In a twitter post Mowasalat said: “Take the first and last mile connect to Doha Metro riding free in comfort and luxury of metrolink feeder buses.”
Mowasalat also said that Karwa taxis will be offering a flat promotional fare of QR8 for metro commuters.
“Karwa taxi paasengers travelling to and from any metro station can book your taxi through Karwa App using promo code RAIL to avail flat QR8 promotional fare for a journey within 3 kilometers,” the transporter said in a tweet.
Doha Metro Red Line South will start its initial operation for the public from tomorrow. This Line extends from Al Qassar to Al Wakra. Out of the 18 Red Line stations, the initial operation will include 13 stations.
