Kuwait: The Kuwaiti government on Monday announced a set of new decision to strengthen measures to contain the spread of the coronavirus / Covid-19 /, which included extending holiday for all ministries, government departments , public bodies and institutions for an additional two weeks until April 26.
According to the Kuwaiti News Agency (KUNA) , the cabinet decided in an extraordinary meeting held today on the latest developments of the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19) to amend the curfew period in the country for two additional hours to be from 5pm until 6am every day, as per the decision of the health authorities.
The government also decided to impose a complete lockdown on Mahboula and Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh areas for two weeks.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, 109 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) were recorded in the country during the past 24 hours, bringing the number of cases registered in the country to 665 cases.
