Doha: The Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center in Doha has launched a drive to collect in-kind donations in aid of victims of the earthquake in Türkiye.

Members of the public are enjoined to donate materials including thermoses, flashlights, power banks, beds, mattresses (for tents), blankets, sleeping bags, scuba catalytic stoves, heaters, tubes, generators, food boxes (resistant food items), children's canned food, diapers, and sanitary and hygiene kits, among others, to the center's address at Building 118, Street 813, Zone 66, in Al Dafna, Doha, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The donated materials, which are expected not to be old and used, are to be put in transparent bags (if possible) and delivered to the aforementioned address, and they will subsequently be sent to Türkiye's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) through Turkish Airlines.

The drive is supported by Turkish Airlines, the Qatar Red Crescent, and AFAD.
