The students of Birla Public School was celebrated in a grand style

 

Doha: The two day celebrations of 12th Founders Day of Birla Public School concluded on December 4, 2015, in a grand style.

Addressing a large gathering of parents, Chief Guest Sanjiv Arora Ambassador of India to Qatar, said, “It is a joy to see children celebrate and lead general assemblies”. 

While addressing the audience on the achievements of school, Lukose Chacko, Chairman, School Governing Council, said “With average mark secured by the students in the Board Examinations reaching 87 and many achievements in extracurricular activities, it is evident that the school is heading in the right direction.”  

Students who had secured top ranks and won merit certificates in the CBSE X and XII Board Examinations in March 2014-2015, were honored with medals and certificates during the function.     

The students put up a theatrical performance. 

 

A sonnet lumiere performance, “Radiance” and a dance drama, “Around the world in 80 days” which were among a grand show of cultural programme, won rapturous applause from the audience. Principal AK Shrivastava presented the annual report. 

About 43 students who secured perfect 10 CGPA in CBSE National curriculum were honoured with a silver medal.

While seven class XII CBSE toppers were conferred with a gold medal, subject toppers and A1 graders in all five subjects were awarded silver medal.
