The lords of horse-racing is considered the most prestigious horse race, the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe is the largest international horse racing event.
This world sporting event allows France to feature amongst the big nations organising races and constitutes a major stage in the recognition of French breeding of thoroughbreds.
Recognised throughout the world for its unique atmosphere, but also for the quality of the horses which are presented there, the horse race is run over the standard distance of 2,400m every first Sunday in October at the Longchamp racecourse in Paris.
