Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition
The second edition of the Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition (S’hail 2018) has begun at the “Wisdom Square” in the Cultural Village Foundation —Katara.
The five-day exhibition will host more than 150 participants from 20 countries. Exhibitors include companies that offer hunting weapons, tools manufacturers, hunting trips agencies, restaurants, falconers and many more.
The exhibition also provides daily lectures about falconry and breeding falcons, delivered by experts in this field, in addition to awareness lectures on safe hunting trips and overland safaris.
The organising committee of the exhibition has allocated QR30,000 in prizes for the best display booth and best falcon mask, in a bid to support handicrafts in this field.

International Literacy Day - Our Children and Books
QNL is offering a lecture to parents about early childhood development and children’s natural attraction towards print in celebration of International Literacy Day by UNESCO. Parents will learn how to evaluate books, understand the different types, and be able to appropriately support their children in picking books.
The event is free but as seats are limited, it is recommended to register.
This lecture is in Arabic.

Ahel Qatar Exhibition
“Ahel Qatar” (People of Qatar), is a brilliant showcase of more than 20 modern realist-expressionist paintings by Qatari artist Ali Al Mulla. “These paintings display prominent figures in Qatar who carved their own niche through their exceptional achievements in different fields,” said Al Mulla.
Former international soccer player Mansour Muftah Al Abdullah, prominent social figure Mohammed Al Suwaidi, musician Abdulaziz Nasser Al Obeidan, actor Ghanim Al Sulaiti and famous media person Saad Al Rumaihi are some of the personalities featured in Al Mulla’s exhibition.

"N33° Flight" Exhibition
“Flight N33” exhibition is displaying works by Kuwaiti artist Sara Hassan and Iraqi artist Haider Al Zaeem, the former focusing on the theme of doors while the latter on the issue of immigrants.
