Scattered rain in Eastern part of Qatar; QMD issues marine warning

Doha: Scattered rain was observed offshore on the Eastern part of the country, according to a recent weather update by Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) on Twitter. 

"Beginning of observing scattered rain maybe thundery at times at Eastern parts offshore,” QMD said. 

The department also issued a marine warning as thunder rain accompanied with strong wind is likely. QMD further warned about high seas in the East as sea waves are currently ranging between 2-4 ft rising to 9 ft.
