Doha: In order to avoid traffic congestion at peak times, and for the safety of road users including pedestrians and drivers during the holy month of Ramadan, the General Directorate of Traffic announced restrictions on the movement of trucks to Doha city during the days of Ramadan.
Trucks will not be allowed in the peak hours from 7:30 am – 9.30 am in the morning, 12.30pm -3pm in the afternoon and from 6pm to 12 at midnight.
The Traffic Department has advised truck drivers to strictly abide by this regulation to ensure safety and regulate traffic flow during the holy month of Ramadan.
